1. About Gruvium
Gruvium is an artificial intelligence-powered wellness companion designed to support mindfulness, meditation, relaxation, sleep improvement habits, focus, reflection, personal growth, and healthy daily routines.
Gruvium may use artificial intelligence, personalization technology, voice technology, and behavioral insights to provide customized wellness experiences.
Gruvium is not a healthcare provider, medical service, or diagnostic platform. For information about the limitations of Gruvium, please review our Health & Wellness Disclaimer and AI Safety & Responsible AI Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide, personalize, improve, and secure Gruvium. The information we collect depends on how you interact with our Services.
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Username
- Password credentials
- Profile photo (if provided)
- Age information
- Country or region
- Account preferences
We use this information to create your account, authenticate users, provide personalized experiences, communicate with you, and protect account security.
Profile photos you upload are stored in a public avatars bucket so Circles members and anyone with the image URL can view them. Do not upload a photo you want to keep private. Removing the photo from your profile stops new use of that file; copies or cached links may persist.
2.2 Wellness Profile Information
To personalize your Gruvium experience, we may collect information about your wellness preferences, including wellness goals, meditation goals, preferred session duration, preferred meditation styles, sleep goals, focus goals, relaxation preferences, preferred voice settings, and content preferences.
2.3 Mood and Emotional Reflection Information
Gruvium may allow you to record personal reflections, including mood selections, emotional check-ins, daily feelings, reflection responses, personal growth notes, gratitude entries, and journal entries. This information is considered personal wellness information. You control whether you provide this information and may delete it through available account controls.
2.4 Journal and Personal Reflection Content
Your journal content belongs to you. Akinox does not claim ownership of your personal reflections. We process this information only as necessary to provide requested features, store your entries, display your history, generate personalized experiences, and maintain security. We do not sell your journal entries.
2.5 Voice Data and Audio Information
If you use voice features, we may collect voice recordings, audio input, speech transcripts, voice preferences, and conversation history (depending on your settings). Voice information may be processed to convert speech into text, understand your requests, generate AI responses, improve voice interaction quality, and provide personalized experiences. You control microphone permissions through your device settings.
2.6 AI Conversation Data
When you interact with Gruvi AI, we may process your messages, voice conversations, questions, requests, AI-generated responses, and conversation history. You should avoid sharing highly sensitive information unless necessary.
2.7 Device Information
We automatically collect certain technical information, including device model, operating system, app version, device identifiers, language settings, time zone, crash reports, and performance information.
2.8 Usage Information
We may collect information about how you use Gruvium, including sessions completed, meditation history, features used, content viewed, completion progress, preferences, and app interactions.
2.9 Apple Watch and Wearable Data
If you use Gruvium on Apple Watch or compatible wearable devices, we may collect information related to enabled features. Depending on your permissions, this may include activity information, mindfulness session completion, heart rate information (if enabled), and health-related measurements available through device integrations.
Apple HealthKit Information
If Gruvium integrates with Apple HealthKit:
- We only access information you explicitly authorize.
- HealthKit data is used only to provide requested features.
- HealthKit data is not sold.
- HealthKit data is not used for advertising.
- HealthKit data is not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide requested functionality and as permitted by Apple policies.
You can revoke Health permissions at any time through your device settings.
