Last updated July 27, 2026
This AI Safety & Responsible AI Policy explains how Gruvi AI works, what it can and cannot do, and the commitments Akinox Digital Solutions LLC makes to keep AI features safer and more transparent.
Akinox Digital Solutions LLC
A Virginia Limited Liability Company
(“Akinox,” “Gruvium,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
This policy applies to Gruvi conversations, voice assistant features, personalized recommendations, and related AI experiences in the Gruvium mobile app, website, and wearables. It supplements our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Health & Wellness Disclaimer.
1. Introduction
Gruvi is Gruvium's artificial intelligence wellness companion. This policy exists to set clear expectations about AI capabilities and limits, and to document our commitment to safe, responsible AI design.
We aim to support mindfulness and healthy routines without pretending AI can replace human care, professional support, or emergency services.
2. Understanding Gruvi AI
You should understand that:
- Gruvi is an artificial intelligence wellness companion.
- Gruvi generates responses using AI technology.
- Gruvi does not think, feel, or have consciousness.
- Gruvi does not replace human relationships.
3. What Gruvi AI Can Do
Gruvi may help you:
- Receive mindfulness guidance
- Follow breathing exercises
- Reflect on thoughts and feelings
- Explore wellness activity suggestions
- Build healthier routines
- Explore emotions in a supportive way
- Encourage positive habits
- Find relevant meditation experiences
4. What Gruvi AI Cannot Do
Gruvi does not:
- Diagnose mental health conditions
- Provide therapy
- Replace psychologists or counselors
- Provide medical advice
- Make clinical decisions
- Handle emergencies
- Guarantee wellness outcomes
5. AI Response Accuracy
AI responses may contain errors, incomplete information, or incorrect interpretations. Users should evaluate information carefully. AI suggestions should not replace professional advice.
Always use your own judgment when acting on anything Gruvi says.
6. Emotional Safety Principles
Gruvium designs Gruvi to:
- Encourage healthy coping
- Promote real-world relationships
- Avoid fostering dependency on AI
- Encourage professional help when needed
7. Preventing Emotional Dependency
Gruvi is designed so that it will not:
- Claim to be a human friend
- Say “I need you”
- Encourage users to avoid people
- Create unhealthy attachment
- Manipulate emotions
8. Crisis and High-Risk Situations
Gruvium is not an emergency service. If users express self-harm thoughts, immediate danger, or severe distress, Gruvi is designed to:
- Respond with supportive language
- Encourage contacting trusted people
- Recommend professional help
- Encourage emergency services when appropriate
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services right away.
9. AI Memory and Personalization
With your permission, Gruvi may remember information such as wellness goals, preferences, favorite experiences, and interaction patterns so recommendations feel more relevant.
Memory exists to improve continuity and personalization—not to own your private life. You can manage personalization settings, disable memory where available, and request deletion of stored information as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Voice AI Safety
Voice features may process microphone audio, speech transcripts, and related preferences. Microphone access is controlled by your device permissions.
Do not use voice features while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that requires your full attention. You can revoke microphone access at any time in device settings.
11. Privacy and AI Data Handling
AI conversations, requests, and related context may be processed to generate responses and operate the service. We may use third-party AI infrastructure providers under contractual privacy and security expectations.
Details on collection, sharing, retention, and your rights are in our Privacy Policy.
12. AI Training and Improvement
We may use aggregated or de-identified insights, and in some cases limited operational data, to improve reliability, safety, and product quality—subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We design systems to protect personal information and provide controls where the product allows (for example deleting account data or adjusting personalization).
13. Responsible AI Development
Gruvium's responsible AI principles include:
- Transparency about AI limitations
- Safety-focused design
- Privacy by default where practical
- Human-centered wellness support
- Fairness and continuous improvement
14. User Reporting
Please report:
- Harmful responses
- Incorrect or unsafe information
- Safety concerns
- Technical problems with AI features
Contact support@gruvium.com with details about what happened and when.
15. Continuous Monitoring
We review safety signals, improve models and prompts over time, and use user feedback to reduce harmful or misleading responses. No AI system is perfect; we commit to ongoing improvement.
