A little transparency, so you can feel at home. Here is what Gruvium stores in your browser, why it is there, and how to stay in control.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by the Gruvium website and web app. Gruvium is operated by Akinox Digital Solutions LLC in Virginia. It complements our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small records your browser stores and may send with requests to a website. Local storage stays in the browser and is read by the app. Neither technology is automatically an advertising tracker: its purpose matters.
2. Your choices at a glance
Essential storage supports sign-in, security, remembering your consent decision, and features you request. Optional product analytics are off before you choose, after you reject them, and whenever a consent record is missing, invalid or expired.
Use Reject optional to keep optional analytics off, Accept all to allow that category, or Manage preferences to select your choice. You can browse the public website without accepting optional analytics.
Changing your cookie choice does not sign you out or delete your journal, saved quotes or account data. To remove that data, use the relevant app or account controls.
4. Optional analytics and advertising
No production third-party web analytics SDK, advertising pixel or advertising-cookie integration is currently installed in this web app. The current web event helper only writes diagnostic events in development; it is gated by your optional analytics choice.
The analytics setting records your preference for the current optional category; accepting it does not install a tracker or authorize a new purpose. If we introduce a new provider or purpose, we will update this policy and request a fresh choice where needed.
Optional analytics must not include your mood notes, journal entries, voice transcripts or private Gruvi conversations. When your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we keep optional analytics off even if an earlier preference allowed them.
5. Change or withdraw your choice
Open Cookie settings from the website footer or this page at any time. Choose Reject optional or turn analytics off and save. The change takes effect for subsequent events immediately. We do not queue pre-consent events for later transmission.
Your decision is saved for 180 days in this browser. It is not automatically shared across your devices or browser profiles. If you clear site storage, change browsers, or the decision expires, we will ask again. If storage is blocked, optional analytics remain off and we may ask again on another visit.
6. Browser controls and third-party services
Your browser also lets you inspect or delete cookies and site data. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in or session persistence. Blocking all browser storage can prevent appearance settings and other app preferences from being remembered.
External websites opened through social, app-store or other links have their own storage and privacy practices. Gruvium’s settings do not control those sites. Hosting and authentication providers may process operational request information under the Privacy Policy; rejecting optional analytics does not disable the service’s essential requests.
7. Updates and contact
We will revise this policy when the web app’s storage practices change. The date above identifies this version. A changed consent version causes the web app to request a new choice instead of carrying an old choice forward.
